vintage oven-baked peach cobbler !!

Ingredients

– 6 cups sliced fresh peaches

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 14 cup of cornstarch

– A pinch of salt (about a quarter teaspoon)

– 1teaspoon baking powder

– Half cold unsalted sliced butter (½ stick)

Preparation

Preheat your oven to three hundred seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit or one hundred ninety degrees Celsius and grease a nine by thirteen-inch baking dish.

Combine in a big bowl the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, as well as nutmeg. Stir until the peaches are uniformly coated before transferring into the greased pan.
